When you browse this website
The server hosting this website records a technical log for every page requested: IP address, date and time, page viewed, browser identification. These logs serve the operation of the website, its security, and the investigation of incidents. They are not used to identify you, nor to follow you from one visit to the next.
This website installs no advertising tracker and performs no audience measurement.
When you fill in a form
The forms on this website record the information you enter — depending on the form: name, email address, telephone, postal address, subject and message. It is used solely to handle your request and to reply to you.
Recorded at the same time, with every submission, are your IP address and your browser identification. These two technical items serve to filter out automated submissions and to trace the origin of abuse; nothing else.
A copy of your request reaches us by email, so our email provider becomes aware of it, on our behalf and for no other purpose.
Before submission, an anti-bot service provided by Cloudflare (Turnstile) checks that the request really comes from a person. That service then receives your IP address and various technical details about your browser and your connection, needed to detect automated submissions. It normally shows no puzzle to solve and is not used to track you for advertising purposes.
This website also runs its own checks, calling on no one: an invisible field that only a robot fills in, and a measurement of the time elapsed before submission.
Providing this information is not a legal obligation, but an incomplete form cannot be processed.
Cookies
This website sets one technical session cookie, essential to the operation and security of the forms: it carries the token that prevents a form from being submitted in your name from another website. It contains no personal data, does not follow your browsing, and disappears when you close your browser.
Your display preferences — light or dark mode, the acknowledgement of the information banner — are kept in your browser’s local storage. They are never sent to us and never leave your device.
A strictly necessary cookie requires no consent: that is why this website informs you rather than asking you to accept.
You may delete or block cookies at any time from your browser settings. The forms on this website will then stop working.
Who has access to your data
Your data is neither sold, nor rented, nor passed to third parties for commercial purposes.
It is accessible, strictly within the scope of their task, to the people handling your request, and to the technical providers acting on our behalf and on our instructions — the website’s hosting provider and our email provider. They are bound to confidentiality and may make no other use of it.
Cloudflare (Turnstile) also receives technical data, directly from your browser, when you submit a form. Depending on the purpose, that provider may process it on our behalf or under its own responsibility, in line with its own data protection commitments.
We also disclose data where a legal provision or a competent authority requires us to.
Transfers abroad
The data of this website is processed in Switzerland. Where a provider processes it outside Switzerland, it does so only towards a country recognised by the Federal Council as offering adequate protection, or on the basis of recognised contractual safeguards.
How long we keep it
Each category of data is kept for as long as its purpose requires, then deleted:
- technical server logs: a few months, under the hosting provider’s rules
- requests received through a form: for the time needed to handle them and the exchange they open, and no longer than 24 months; they are then archived and permanently destroyed no later than six months afterwards
Security
Exchanges with this website are encrypted (HTTPS). Access to the administration area is password-protected and logged. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access and disclosure — while absolute security cannot be guaranteed on the internet.
Your rights
At any time you may:
- access the data concerning you and request a copy of it;
- have it corrected if it is inaccurate, or completed if it is incomplete;
- request its deletion, subject to what the law requires us to keep;
- object to a processing operation, or request its restriction;
- request the handover or transfer of your data in a common format;
- withdraw your consent where the processing rests on it, without calling into question what was done before.
One address for all of this: info@artamedia.net. We reply as quickly as possible, and within thirty days at the latest. We may ask you to prove your identity before disclosing any data. Exercising these rights is free of charge.
Automated decisions
This website takes no automated decision producing legal effects for you, and builds no profile.
Complaint
If our answer does not satisfy you, you may contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern — edoeb.admin.ch. People living in the European Union may contact the supervisory authority of their country.
